As Spartan Race continues to grow and establish itself as one of the premier brands in OCR, new ways to push the sports and it’s athletes are emerging every year. One of the most recent challenges Spartan Race has come up with is the Spartan Race Trifecta.
The Spartan Race Trifecta is an award competitors earn when they complete a Spartan Race Sprint race, Super race, and Beast race all in one calendar year.
Spartan Race Trifecta Medals
The Spartan Race Trifecta medal is made up of three pie-shaped medals you receive at the end of each race. Those medals fit together like a puzzle to make the trifecta medal. Once you’ve earned the third piece of your Trifecta medal, you will be able to get an outer ring piece that will hold the three medals together for the “completed” Trifecta medal. Beyond the Trifecta medal, there are other Trifecta medals for racers who complete multiple Trifecta races in a calendar year ( 2x Trifecta = six total races).
Runners can earn their medals anywhere in the world at any Spartan Race event. You can also complete different races at the same event since some races have Sprint, Super, and Beast distances. Running two or three of these races in a single weekend would count toward your Trifecta the same way as running at three different venues.

Spartan Race Trifecta Pass
Spartan Race allows you to sign up for a Spartan Race Trifecta pass at the beginning of every season. The pass cost $299, which gets you entry to three races (one Sprint, one Super, and one Beast). Aside from the race passes, you also get added benefits like free spectator passes and bag checks at each event. If you plan to earn your Trifecta in a year, it makes sense to buy the pass because you would save more than $100 when you factor in the cost of each race and their associated costs.

There have been stories about people who want to get in shape, so they sign up for the Trifecta Pass, complete the three events, and it changes their lives. While those stories are few and far between, the Spartan Race Trifecta is a great milestone goal for any OCR racer, and is a great opportunity to challenge yourself if completing one race just isn’t enough.
